Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 is an South African television journalist and war reporter. She was a CBS News reporter from 2002 to 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan called her factually inaccurate and politically biased coverage of the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my entire decade of watching." In the year 2019 she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media firm. In January 2020, she joined Fox Nation (a subscription streaming service operated by Fox News). She stated that she was "dumped by the company" in March 2022. Logan worked as an assistant news reporter for Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992 she was hired by Reuters Television Africa as a senior production producer. After four years in the company, she began freelance journalism. Assignments included an editor/reporter/reporter for ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. CNN covered the events that took place in the Northern Ireland and Kosovo wars.
